This quilt is a modern take on a classic sampler quilt. The blocks are constructed from hand dyed fabric from my studio and fabric that has been created from the upcycled scraps of previous projects, both as a way to reduce waste and to create something new and special with a history sewn directly into the seams. the back of this quilt is a blown up scrappy block consisting of small cuts sewn into something new. This is a one of a kind piece that cannot be replicated exactly.
The quilt was hand quilted with bright turquoise thread and the batting is a cozy wool, perfectly cozy and surprisingly breathable for most seasons, excepting the warmest months of summer.
